Programme for Schools 2008

The Manchester Classical Association runs a number of events during the year aimed at schools based within the area.

Wednesday 6th February 2008: AS and A2 Latin Texts Half-Day at the University of Manchester, from 2pm.

Wednesday 12th March 2008: Annual Latin and Greek Reading Competition at The Queen's School, Chester, starting at 1:30pm.

If you would like to be sent further details of either or both of these events, please let us know as soon as possible.

If you request details of the Latin Texts event, the information will be sent by email from the Department of Classics and Ancient History of the University of Manchester.

The Reading Competition categories will be: Latin (Beginners, GCSE, Advanced - prose and/or verse) and Greek (GCSE, Advanced).

If you request details of the Reading Competition, please give us a postal address. The information will arrive as hard-copy by the middle of January. There will be an application form to be completed and returned by post. All other communications will be by email.
