Public Events 2019-20

UPDATE: COVID-19 response, 16th March 2020

Due to the ongoing global situation with COVID-19, the Manchester & District Branch of the Classical Association has made the local decision to suspend all its public-facing activities for the remainder of 2019/20. These are: the performance scheduled for 25th March (Stephe Harrop, Alcestis in Bits); the Director’s Screening of Cleft Lip scheduled for 22nd April; the Annual Whitehead Lecture scheduled for 13th May (Maria Wyke); the Reading Competition scheduled in June; and the Texts Day scheduled for this month.
We are re-scheduling some of these events to take place in the 2020/1 academic year. Please see the website over the coming months for details of these, where you can also sign up to our mailing list to receive regular updates.
